| My passion for cooking began as a teenager growing up on Martha's Vineyard where I worked under some of the best island chefs and gained an appreciation for fresh seafood and all natural ingredients. After earning an English degree at Westfield State College I discovered, while working as a line cook at Emporio Armani Cafe' in Boston, that I wanted to work with food as a career. In 2002, my wife and I moved to western Massachusetts where I worked at Whole Foods Market as well as Party Girls Catering Co. which won Best Caterer in the Pioneer Valley two years in a row. These experiences stregthened my resolve to create exceptional food for my clients in their home. In 2002 I also joined the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA) and began my career as a personal chef. I continue to educate myself by keeping informed of the latest culinary trends and safe food handling techniques. I currently reside in Wendell, MA, with my wife Angie who is a doctoral candidate in the Plant and Soil Science Department at UMASS Amherst, and our two cats Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman.
